Making fabric-covered buttons for upholstery or sewing projects is easy! You don’t need expensive tools to do it.
There are pre-made buttons that you can upholster yourself – all you need is a nice fabric and a hammer.
Here is a quick video explaining how to make the buttons. Below I also list all the items I used for my project.
The buttons I bought are great as they come with the tool. I used the first on the list, but if you want something smaller, you can consider other options I included
- Buttons to cover – size 45 (28mm) https://amzn.to/2UwR9rZ
- Buttons to cover – size 36 (22mm) https://amzn.to/2y1aKJe or
- Buttons to cover – size 30 (19mm) https://amzn.to/3972Evj
Make sure to pick the set with the wire hook, not the flat back!
